Hope is a bitter four-letter word?

It has to be that the media has swallowed yet another stupid pill. Barack Obama speaks the truth about how folks in small towns feel and the talking heads make (incorrect) references to Karl Marx and call Obama elite. As Andrew Sullivan rightly points out:

I’m beginning to suspect that the only segment left in America that genuinely feels that elitism is a problem for Obama are … the elites. How funny is that? And how fantastic if it is borne out in the actual voting. Maybe we’re witnessing the death-throes of Rove-Morris politics, after all. I don’t know – but we will soon find out, and may even have the Clintons to thank for proving it.

I agree. The people I talk to are sick and tired of the same old political behavior of Bush/Cheney – and the Clintons. We need new solutions and, yes, the politics of Hope.
